If you're trying to lose weight, make sure you are drinking more water than before. Water not only keeps you hydrated and all your organs functioning right, but if you have enough water in your body, it won't need to retain any of it. You see when you're dehydrated, your body will automatically retain water to keep your organs and brain functioning properly. But that also causes you to have more weight on the scale when you step on it.
You'll also have the sensation of feeling bloated when you're retaining water. The general rule of thumb is to drink 8-10 glasses of water, 8oz each glass. Drink enough water where you're going to the bathroom at least once an hour.
