If you're able to, walk where you would normally drive. By walking to your destination, you can burn an additional 300-500 per hour. Most people live within 2 miles of things they need. Places like the grocery store, movie theater, friend's home and restaurants are all within walking distance.
If you walk instead of driving, you can use that time as your work out session. You can incorporate lunges and even jumping jacks while you're waiting for the light to change at the cross walk. By walking and being creative during that time, you can burn more calories than you expected, which is perfect for losing weight.
